چکیده
Industry 4.0 digitization requirements have led to widespread adoption of industrial wireless sensor networks (IWSNs) in manufacturing environments. These require strict control the traffic flowing over network ensure quality service. Software-defined (SDNs) can address this challenge, as their centralized operation allows routing and media access (MAC) protocols be optimized. In addition, many cases a massive deployment metering devices is necessary, therefore must scalable, allow an increase number density nodes network. This implies required by SDNs, generating significant reduction throughput available for data. because length timeslot limits that uses time division, such Time Slotted Channel Hopping (TSCH), conditioning its data sending rate. paper, we propose exploit integration reconfiguration capabilities SDN extend through use multi-radio sinks called virtual sinks, orchestrated from controller, extending multiple SD-IWSNs take full advantage radio spectrum. To optimize bandwidth usage, controller will allocate slices, allowing send with high frequency using dedicated channels. The results obtained show provides increasing maximum deployed while preserving service (QoS) requirements. Software Defined Networks in Wireless Sensor Architectures
Nowadays, different protocols coexist in Internet that provides services to users. Unfortunately, control decisions and distributed management make it hard to control networks. These problems result in an inefficient and unpredictable network behaviour. Software Defined Networks (SDN) is a new concept of network architecture. It intends to be more flexible and to simplify the management in netw...

In recent years we have seen a fast change in the networking industry: leading by the Software Defined Networking (SDN) paradigm that separates the control plane from the data plane to enable programmability and centralized control of the network infrastructure, the SDN design not only simplifies the network management but also accelerates the innovation speed of deploying advanced network appl...
متن کاملSoftware Defined Networking for Wireless Sensor Networks: A Survey
One main feature of Software Defined Networking (SDN) is the basic principle of decoupling a device’s control plane from its data plane. This simplifies network management and gives network administrators a remarkable control over the network elements. As the control plane for each device within the network is now implemented on a separate controller, this reliefs individual devices from the ov...
متن کاملUsing Software-defined Networking Principles for Wireless Sensor Networks
In this paper, we propose an architecture based on software-defined networking (SDN) for wireless sensor networks. Ideas of how to design and make use of the flexibility that SDN offers are presented. We discuss how SDN principles can lead to the use of commodity hardware in a wider range of WSN deployments and then tailor the software only to meet the requirements of the specific deployments a...
